The futures so bright--gotta wear shades

Great book. Great tips to get on track with your realtionship with money. Easy to read and but addresses in detail ways to have a healthy relationship with your money or lack of it! I took the authors advice about credit card debt, and have drastically reduced my debt with a good pay off plan, not to mention getting the card company to lower my interest rates. Great guide for woman married or single who want to make their dough grow-- A great gift to give to a young person getting ready to enter the world as an independant young adult.

Read it and you will save the dough and make some bread!

I love this book ! Both authors have great good humor. Does not terrify the newbies to finance: encourages the oldies to take charge.Really a fun read with wise counsel and good backup stories. Often neglected subjects like Caretaking, and Widowhood are treated tenderly and give huge amounts of information. The color coding/worksheets are excellent (as in Tranferring Property.) This book will save you a ton of money on legal fees. Follow the advice and save a lot of dough!

I though it was about bread

When I was looking for a cookbook for my granddaughter, I hurriedly bought "Making Bread." It was only when I was wrapping it that I discovered it was not a cookbook at all, but a book about money for women. I gave it to my granddaughter anyway. She says it is the best gift I could have given her. At 34, she wishes she had had the information earlier in her life, and, at 86 years old, I wish I had too. But it is never too late! She is starting her own business now as a personal chef and recently told me what a big help "Making Bread" has been to her. Liz Roberson, Santa Monica, California

Making Bread: The Ultimate Financial Guide for Women Who Nee

This book is terrific. I'm giving it to my daughters as well as my women friends. I only wish Elizabeth had thought to write it 30 years ago!!

Covers the basics

I need as much guidance as I can get navigating my way through the financial world, and this book provided a great deal. I have marked many pages to follow-up on. I know Elizabeth Lewin as a financial consultant and always appreciated her advice. Thanks to both editors.
