This book is a practical guide for pastors who are making the move to a new church appointment or call. United Methodist Bishop Coyner gives practical suggestions on making transitions, including advice on what to do the first week, first month, and first year in the new parish. The chapters on assessing your leadership style and the leadership style needed by the new parish are especially helpful.
