In Make You Love Me, Tate Gibson, a fine, well-educated brother, will not commit to either Carmela, who wants a husband or to LeQuisha, who needs a father for her three children. Now that Tate, a real mama's boy, has most of the finer things in life and he seems to be a real catch for any woman, he decides to become a player and work his options to the max. He and LeQuisha have an on-again/off-again relationship because of the baby daddy drama. Then he meets Tangela, a virgin, who believes that he is her soul mate and will do anything to get him. So, he continues to have sex with the other women, so he can keep his virgin pure. When he decides to break it off with Carmela, she goes berserk and causes him serious problems. After Tate disrespects her, LeQuisha decides to better herself and goes back to school and life picks up for her and her three kids. But with a sizzling combination of sexual indiscretion and female competition, Tate gets caught up at first and then realizes that being a player is not what it is cracked up to be. Afterall, Tangela seems to be the perfect trophy wife. And Tate has to make his own decision. LaTonya Williams writes a page-turning story full of love and decisions.

Awesome

With this being the first novel that I have read from Latonya Williams, I was truly impressed. This book gave me encouragement and made me realize that you cannot make anything happen, and to just let fate take its' path. I really enjoyed reading this book from beginning to end, and I hope for many more to come.

Got It Going On!!!!!

Page turner, full of issues that has a moral lesson too. The cover would make you think this book would be a romance novel. NOT. I am so glad I picked up this book, she has a new fan. I advise many to read this book and much more of her work. Her characters are so real, makes you think its someone you know of. AWESOME WORK GIRLFRIEND!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

A True Page-Turner

Make You Love Me left me wanting to hear more from this young author. Tate Gibson is truly the type of man that every woman dreams of having: handsome, successful, loves his momma, and a first class lover. However, he knows that he's got it going on and proceeds to string along three different women at the same time. In the meantime, in their efforts to make Tate love them, Lequisha ends up changing for the better, Carmela overplays her hand, and Tangela isn't all that she's cracked up to be. I could not put this book down. It is an absolute must read.

Not the Love Story the cover implies- the making love part is true though

I was so surprised by the ending- you know how to keep a person interested in reading your next book, too. I could truly relate to the issues that we see in our daily lives, of how people make mistakes not realizing how it affects other people. Truly a must read- I did in 2 days.
