With all the recent interest in Crowley, this book ought to be back in print. Far worse on the subject certainly is! This is a simple novelization of the life of the Beast; you won't find anything new in it, but it makes these arcane events very readable and almost manages to do the impossible--make Crowley likeable. Almost. Perhaps you can procure a copy and give it to your children, as it would make a perfect young person's introduction to the black arts.
