Fast read

This book was short, well-written, and had some funny moments amongst the suspense and easily identified villain. The part of the story that stuck out the most, especially in these times of economic crisis, was David Madigan's fears of loosing his ranch to a bank foreclosure. This, however, was a happily ever after story of such a crisis, set in lush 1800s Colorado. It was just the right length to keep me occupied during a cross-country flight.
