Made is a brilliant new semi-annual production, equal parts exhibition catalog, pop culture magazine and art book. Designed and compiled by cutting edge Made Gallery in Vancouver, Canada, it features contemporary style-makers, in art, design, photography and music. Made-Twenty Three presents unconventional New York artist, Ryan McGinness best known for his irreverent eye. McGinness's most recent work includes a series of signs he created using porcelain baked enamel over steel - and in true McGuiness style these signs do everything but give directions. Also featured are recent installations in New York, Tokyo, Paris and Munich. In addition Made-Twenty Three presents an interview with skateboarder Tony Ferguson, photography by Inside Magazines author Judith Steedman, aerosol creations by New York graffiti artist SEEN, and a retrospective of Swedish rock band bob hund.
