I have met Amanda and she is a lovely spirit who really knows Astrology. It is her passion, and she has exhibited this in her writing. We are coming upon a new age and the use of Astrology is going to become a very common subject for all of us to use as we make major life decisions. Teenagers are expressing more interest in the subject and Amanda's book is a well-written book that is easily understood, and provides a good foundation and beginning for the student of this very complicated science. Congrats to Amanda for a job well done!!! I will recommend this book to any teenager and also parent of teenagers as they begin their life's journey!!
Everyone should find their Lucky Stars

The best part about Lucky Stars is the way it is written. You can get right into the information and apply it instantanously. You can find out about yourself and your buddies without going through numerous words in chapters to find what you need to know. It is written for the young teens however, every beginner will be able to pick this up and enjoy learning from the first page. Many students of Astrology get turned off because the books are ever so complicated. This book gets you into not only the explanation of the Sun sign but also, what is important in friendships, career and home life. All the basic stuff of life. Easy reading, easy to understand and easy to apply.
Astrology 101

Lucky Stars is such a good book for beginning astrologers as well as seasoned astrologers. You simply can't go wrong with the in-depth explanations and definitions, that you can use instantaneously. It is aimed at teenagers, but as I stated before what makes this platform possible for any reader is the 'easy-speak' she uses, so you aren't intimidated! You aren't scared of astrology with Amanda guiding the ship! Also this is a great gift, I myself have been interested in astrology forever, but I would definitley suggest giving it to a child aged 9 and up. I was left only with one question after reading: when does the sequel come out???
Astrology made easy and entertainng

Lucky Stars held my interest as it simply and in an entertaining fashion introduced the subject of astrology. I gained insights into my personality as I read about my Sun Sign, and, as a Leo, I am interested in me!The book is suitable not only for young people but for adults who want to know how to use this important tool in their lives. The book left me wanting more. Write one just for adults, Amanda!
they are lucky stars!

I usually don't like books for "teens" or "young people." They tend to talk down to us, simplifying issues and acting like teenagers don't think about their love lives or futures. This book is easy to follow, but speaks to a more intelligent young person. As someone close to finishing the teen years, I was suprised to like it as much as I did.I see this kind of positive guide being useful beyond the teen years, it could be for someone in their 20's who wants to better understand how people, the world, and of course themselves, function based on the stars!I'm giving this book to all my friends for their birthdays this year for sure!
