Very good beginning reader.

The pictures are very colorful and the repeated words help with word recognition for beginning readers. I would recommend buying this book for 4-5 year old children.

Take a Walk with Lucky Duck

The first thing that struck me about this book was the illustrations.They are absolutely wonderful.The text of the book is perfect for a beginning reader,funny story with a few words per page and the repetitive phrase of Lucky Duck.The illustrations are colorful, humorous,very detailed, and let the child see what is about to happen to the duck.The duck is not your typical yellow duck shown in most children's books.He appears to be a mallard duck ( I think that's the type ) in a vest and hat.The originality of that just makes this book even more special.I buy many beginning readers and I highly recommend this one.
