VITAL for LSAT preparation

Obtain as many copies of Official LSATs as you have time to take under testing conditions and to extensively then review and analyze your EVERY response, regardless of whether you answered with a correct or incorrect answer choice. Take the LSAT ONCE.

ACTUAL EXAMS

The very best preparation for the LSAT is to practice on actual tests previously administered. The publications through LSAC, such as this one, provide actual exams and answers. To anyone studying for the LSAT, I would give the following advice: don't fall prey to the fears about the LSAT. You could spend two thousand bucks or more taking courses and buying prep materials. Instead, buy several different LSAT prep books that are reasonably priced. After practicing with them, buy real LSATs and practice on them under timed conditions.I read about four different prep books that cost less than $20 each. Then I worked through about eight or ten real, recent LSATs under test conditions. I had been out of school for more than two years and was happy with an LSAT score above the 90th percentile. Should you find yourself struggling with the prep books and real LSATs, perhaps a course or individual instruction is right for you. The LSAT score is critical, and if good enough you can land a scholarship from a top tier school. Don't assume, however, that you must spend $1500 in preparation because "everyone else is doing it" and you are already behind. Law school will be demanding and require much study, so get used to it and put in the time requried to score well on the LSAT. The triple prep and the three or four most recent LSATs available are your best bet, once you understand how the test is structured and have practiced a few strategies (including DIAGRAMS).

Nothing is better than real LSATs!

This is the real deal. Previously administered LSATs. No explanations or guidance is provided, but this book is just tests. Regardless of what source you use for preparing to take the LSAT, practice testing is the key to scoring high. This book offers 3 real LSATs. Other volumes are also available that offer other test versions. Simple, but exactly what you need.

Excellant Practice

Nothing can help you prepare for the LSAT better than taking a real LSAT. This book contains three actual tests, allowing the student to simulate LSAT timing conditions or just allowing them to become familiar with the question types on the test. An excellant investment for those preparing to take the LSAT.

Actual tests are absolutely vital for successful preparation

For anyone contemplating law school, the L.S.A.T. is a necessary evil. Finding books that purport to help the student prepare for the test is not hard at all, but many of them do more harm than good. The single most important thing for the soon-to-be test taker is practice on actual tests, and that's precisely what this book delivers. Because the L.S.A.T. is a copyrighted test, very few books available contain actual tests. The authors of the books that purport to help students prepare for the L.S.A.T. therefore often make up their own exams. There is nothing inherently wrong with practicing on test questions that are not genuine, but problems certainly can arise. For example, the sample questions may not be based on the most recent exams or may simply be very poorly thought out. There's also the serious problem that can occur when the sample quesions are, quite simply, wrong. The L.S.A.T. is not perfect, but at least you're studying the actual questions, be they right or wrong. Further, when the test nears, the student can time him- or herself far more accurately using actual tests. Note, however, that the tests reproduced in this book contain only four sections, while the actual tests contain five sections. The L.S.A.T. contains a section that is not graded but is instead used to test questions for future tests. Those sections are not reproduced in this book. No matter what non-official books the student uses to prepare for the exam, actual tests are vital, and that's what this book provides. And with the L.S.A.T. such a vital part of the application process, it is far better to prepare with these tests than to be caught by surprise in the exam room.
