A sweet book

This book was special because of the unique sweetness of the heroine, Becky. Young and childlike, with a quick temper and a soft heart, Becky is unlike the majority of the women in romance novels. She is never domineering or flirtatious, but, rather, adorable. She is the reason this book is worth reading.

Two words sum it all - UTTERLY DELIGHTFUL!

I have to confess, normally, I skim through book after book to get a gist of the story before deciding if it's worth a read. But Kim Lewis has so artfully kept me enthralled page after page, that I can only shake my head in disbelief at her ability to keep the reader so facinated! She is utterly original in her approach, and this delightful book had me laughing in stitches! I just wished there were more authors like her, who employ humour into a romance novel, keeping readers light-hearted, yet thoroughly drawn to her tale of romance. If I could award her with 6 stars, I would! This is a top notch romance!

Just like the hero, you won't be able to resist Loving Becky

Alex Hunter is the man we'd all like to have as our firstlove--all of us except his "official" fiance, Becky Tallant, that is. And Becky is the spirited heroine no hero could resist, least of all Alex, no matter the original intent of their sham betrothal. Love is definitely in the cards for these two charming Georgians. This character-driven story will have you laughing and falling in love with Becky (and Alex). --Mary Lou Frank
