Rock Bottom

On the first page of "Lovers Anonymous," Xavier Pouchon wakes up in pain and unaware of the previous night's events. Not knowing how he got where he is and what is going on is part of his daily life. Xavier has a successful career and is an alcoholic. His days are spent at work and his nights at The Flamenco or another local spot. Drink after drink, woman after woman is his routine. What will it take for Xavier to see that he is slowly destroying himself? Author Xavier Pierre Jr. weaves into a compelling narrative his addiction to sex and alcohol and its damaging effects on him and the people surrounding him. "Lovers Anonymous" will drench you in darkness as Xavier delves deeper and deeper into his dysfunctional behavior chronicling his downward spiral. I appreciate the author's candor in the preface. Certainly not easy for Pierre to live through, not easy to write about, but it makes for a good story. Reviewed by: Toni

An excellent view into the life of a true addict!

Xavier sheds a powerful light into how addiction can conquer the spirit, the morals, and the people you love. I could not put it down for fear that I would miss out on a piece of one of the characters lives. A thrilling tale...almost could not believe that it was true. LOVED IT!!!

Great Book

Xavier lets us see his past like no other could have told it. There were times when you felt sorry for him and just wanted to give him a big hug and other times when you wanted to tell him "Karma" is real! If you are going through a rough time in your life this book can help you get through it. If not you can see how he was healed and able to love. It will be hard to put this book down. Buy it today!

Worth reading over and over

Xavier has a way of capturing the reader's imagination by diving us into his world. I didn't know what to expect when I first read the manuscript and was completely blown away. Each chapter keeps you guessing until the end. He has created a work of art with words and I look forward to the next book.

I have had the pleasure of reading an sample of the book already and from what I read, I can't wait to get the book. This book is one of those that when you start you just can't stop reading.
