the wrong bride

Cajoled into going halfway across the country to console her sisters jilted fianci, Julia Sommers arrives in Loveland, Texas, only to be greeted by an entire wedding reception for her! Wade Howland is in no mood for the rituals of courting. He needs to be married, and quickly. Learning that his fiancie has eloped is just the beginning. As the wedding guests depart, a gang robs the train and, as a Texas Ranger, he must track them down. Abandoned by Wade, Julia decides to return home. But the gang kidnaps her and take her into the mountains. Once back to safety with Wade, Julia learns the value of family and ranch life and she discovers that being a captive in the wilds of Texas isnt so bad after all. Ms. Andersons tale of a girl who goes West is as familiar as it gets. A traditional cast and well-known setting provide the backdrop for a few surprises, and the story holds interest.
