The truth is hard to hear but well worth it.

About how we manifest disease in ways that serve us in our lives. I couldn't believe how much this book spoke to me. Extremely insightful. I gave it to a friend but now I'm considering buying it again so I can reread it!

So that's what happened to Dr Harrison!

I read this book years ago, and again recently. It's as brilliant and relevent now as it was then. I kept looking for other titles by this author and could find nothing. Now I know why. I found on publisher Allen & Unwin's website the title of an upcoming book called "Death of a Doctor. How the medical profession turned on one of their own". I knew it! No-one who makes a profound contribution to the well being of people and doesn't prescribe drugs escapes the authorities. Listeur, Pasteur, Reich, Harvey...they all got screwed! And now this doctor. I for one, register my support. I want to see where his incredible journey of healing and discovery has taken him. I await the publication of his story and hopefully, his next book.

Incredible analysis - logical and revealing

This was a mind crunching book that really opens your eyes (if you are willing to that is). I can easily recommend this book to others, but I know for sure that some will not take in what the doctor is saying. According to this book and now my opinion as well, this is as it should be. When or if you are ready, you will fall into this book as I've done. I've searched high and low for a book like this and while I read "You can heal your life" it was the companion to that book that informed me of this one and I couldn't be happier or healthier as well that I read it. I will read it again and again, I'm sure getting more out of each time.

This book changed my life

This is a fairly old book but it is just as relevant now as when it was written. I recently rediscovered it on my shelves and on re-reading it have realised that it was the turning point in my life. It is direct, sensible, open, honest, and more helpful than anything I have come across since. It enables the reader to understand themselves and their relationship with their health without feeling either guilty or powerless. It helps you see the way forward and encourages you to go for it. To my chagrin I have not found anything else by this author.

One of a few

This book was first published in 1984I've read hundreds of self help books since and none of them are in the same league as this bookIt has a handle on health and well being that is just so commonsense and non-political. Even though it is clearly the most gender neutral book out there, I hear the feminazis of the Australian health authorities crucified this guy. Shame on you.Clear, insightful and absolutely beautiful.
