A very helpful book for relationships

I have read this book and I have had the fortune of attending Saundra Dickinson's workshops. I can honestly tell you that I think this book is a relationship changing book. She packs the book full of many scientific principals why men and women are different along with cultural reasons why we both have different expectations of relationships. I feel that armed with this knowledge we can rethink how we look at our relationships not only with our partner, but our friends, parents, and even co-workers. A lot of her work is based upon how we were raised as children and that we walk into relationships with widely different ideas. We all fall in love with our partner because they reflect what we want and desire in a relationship, but this is only a part of them. It is the other part that we struggle with, this book will help you work through the homework you need to do to help change your relationship. As you can never really change another person, the success of your relationships often lie with the actions we take, or fail to take. This book can really help with all of the relationships in your life.

This book makes such sense. It gives you the resources you need to not only improve your relationship, but also yourself. Couples wanting a relationship with more connection will benefit from this book. My husband and I have felt such a positive change in our relationship. Which I'm sure has had a positive influence on our children and the relationship we have with them. Women, as well as men will enjoy and learn from this book!
