Great book for babies

My six month old loves this book! I brought it home from the library when she was about 4 1/2 months old, and it was one of the few books she would really look at, and sit still for. Initially she seemed to like the patterns on the pages, then she started looking at the pictures of the babies and watching me turn the flaps and now she tries to turn them herself. She will sit still to have it read aloud to her repeatedly. It is really a lovely little book--very simple, easy for the baby to understand, and fairly sturdy. The flaps are heavy paper and not easily ripped, and easy for her to attempt to grip. I highly recommend this for parents of babies looking for some first books.

too cute

I picked up this book to read to my almost 2 year old son since we will soon have a new baby. He is entralled with all flap books and absolutely adores this book. I'm fairly certain he thinks HE is the baby I'm talking about, so I'm not sure it served its original purpose, but it is a lovely book.
