This best-selling book is a comprehensive reference book to the metaphysical properties of hundreds of minerals, correlated to the astrological signs. This description may be from another edition of this product.
I've had this book for years. It is the best of the best!
Melody describes everything you need to know and more: What type of mineral<s> make up crystal, location, what it may provide for you, often history or other information, zodiac signs, and number vibrations.
I work in a shop and research all crystals. Only Melody's books provide the true names, and so much more...it is vital to know what crystal we have for what it provides and fishing out fakes. Our friends/customers appreciate all knowledge I learn from Melody. I recommend this book to everyone! Love and healing light friends

blessings all, i have a vast array of books regarding crystals, stones, and minerals, and this one is by far the most extensive! A-Z and everything but the kitchen sink...Melody sure knows her minerals, and gives nice long (sometimes too long lol)descriptions of properties;scientific, mythological, and metaphysical.the borders of most of my pages in this very long book are all marked up with notes and experiences and such...its priceless to me.i want to take it everywhere!only two small drawbacks: 1.) no pictures and 2.)no mention of how certain crystals and stones can deplete energies and should be used with caution based on toxicity...(i would imagine anyone owning this book may have other books and their own intuition to guide them, however...)other than that, wondeeeeful!
A to Z of Crystals

This marvellous reference work tells you everything about the metaphysical properties and use of crystals. The chapter Configurations describes the shapes and structures of the mineral kingdom, from the Ankh to the Window Crystal. There are chapters on Numerical Vibrations, Master Numbers and Preparatory Methodology, which serve as guides for those who wish to speed up their progress on the spiritual path. The last mentioned chapter deals with acquiring, dedicating, cleansing, awakening, charging and programming your crystals. The chapter Practical Applications provides information on crystal meditation, protection, elixirs and how to treat food, plants, your car and your aura with crystals. The chapter Additional Definitions serves as a glossary of terms, from Akashic Records to Yin-Yang. The main body of the book consists of an alphabetical list of crystals and their properties, from Acanthite to Zunyite. Here the appearance of the stone and its metaphysical and healing qualities are discussed. Astrological correspondences and numbers are also provided. The book has a beautiful cover painting, Crystals Of Life, by Charley Berryhill and concludes with a thorough index. It is a very useful and extensive guide to crystals. My only complaint is the lack of photographs or illustrations that would facilitate the identification of individual stones.
This single book is an incredible reference for crystals.

This book has MANY things going for it.the author discusses various types of crysyals (clusters, dendric, gateway, generator, manifestation, obelisk, etc). Then goes on to other sections (acquiring, dedication, cleansing, awakening, charging, programming, meditation, protection, making elixirs, etc). Then the larger portion of the book is used to list the properties of hundreds of different kinds or stones. The author even goes so far to list the astrological sign, and which number the stones are associated with. This book is an incredible resource for information about crystals; but I have three little nitpicks.1. The Author lists the use of salt water to cleanse your crystals on page 54. I do not recommend this method because salt is a corrosive agent, and repeated cleansing in salt water could break down the lattice structure of crystals. I DO recommend cleansing stones by the following methods.a. smudging them in the smoke of a purifying herb or incense.b. placing the crystals in sunlight.c. burrying them in the ground so the negative energies can be transmuted.2. I wish the author had listed the hardness of the assorted stones. This way you could use assorted stones of similar hardness so they did not damage one another. It would not be wise to carry a peice of Clear Quartz in a pocket with a peice of Moldavite. Moldavite is only 5.5 on the hardness scale where Quartz is a 7.0, Boji stones are 7.4. Ruby is 9, and Diamond is 10.3. This book with 700+ pages is quite difficult to hold and read. So I would recommend that you read about the first 100 pages that discusses the assorted types of crystals, programming crystals, cleansing crystals, etc; then set the book on the shelf and use it as a reference guide when you want to find the properties of the assorted crystals as you acquire them.Aloha nui loa (I love you very much)

This is my main "reference" book on crystal and mineral properties. I couldn't be without it and I recommend it to all those who are newly on the journey into crystals.

The Unexamined Life is Not Worth Living
Published by William Shelton • November 15, 2023
According to Socrates the unexamined life is not worth living. In the whirl and rush of modern society, how often do we take the time to ponder the meaning of our existence? Each of the world's great religions try to tackle this question, but there are many paths to finding peace with our place in the universe. From Astrology to yoga, transcendental meditation or alien intervention, the avenues of exploration are as legion and varied as the stars.
