A Timeless Romance!!!

"Love in a Mist" was the first book by Ms. Grasso that I had ever read. I read this book several, several years ago and recently picked it up again in order to re-visit with old friends. Even after all these years, and romance book later...I still find this to be a timeless romance that you won't want to miss. Keely is a pagen priestess with a wonderfully sensitve heart. She sees the good and evil and when her mother dies and she is cast from her home in Wales, Keely does what she must in order to survive. With a deathbed promise to her mother to find her true father Keely. With no help from her clueless cousins she manages to make her way to England and her fathers home. She is taken in but her acceptance won't be by all. Her half sister is not thrilled to be put in second place by her father nor by the handsome and rich Richard Deveraux. Richard is well received at court, has a midas touch when it comes to money and is totally captivated by the sweet Keely. She is so different from what he's used to that he can't and won't turn his back on her. Before he knows it these two are bound together through marriage but there are those out there that want to see this union come to an end. Will Richard and Keely be able to find a happy ending that they both so richly deserve? This is a classic Grasso read! Her character development is very unique and the reader won't be able to help falling a little in love with Richard themselves. Keely although "innocent" is not totally unaware which makes her a strong lead! This read is part of the "Devereux Series" and one that I highly recommend you try to get a hold of. It will be well worth the effort. Official Reviewer for Romance Designs

I Love It

I picked out this book on a sale, not knowing what I've paid for. But trust me, this book really beats some famous authors'. I love Richard and the way he treated Keely. I mean, it's sweet, the way they tried to 'kill' each other. And also Keely's devoted cousins. Read it!

Wonderfully Compelling Book!

I absolutely adored this book, and is one of the few that I read over and over again. Keely is a magnificent heroine, sacrificing her own right to inherit for Morgana and Henry's sake. I can't wait for the author to give Henry his own story...it would be nice to see the randy heir brought to his knees for love of a woman.

This was a very exciting and original novel!

Keely Glendower, a homeless pagan priestess, and England's wealthiest earl, Richard Deveraux, discover a passion and a secret that could destroy them both in sixteenth-century Wales and England.
