A must read for cat lovers! Bittersweet

By chance, this book caught my eye at a local library. This is a very interesting story of a young wife and husband raising cougar cubs in suburban British Columbia. I found this story fascinating. Perhaps this was due, in part, to the fact that I knew many of the locations metioned in the book and had actually lived near these locations at the time this true-life drama unfolded. The most touching aspect of this book is the depth of the relationship between Lyn and one cougar cub in particualar. This book reinforces what I have beleived for years: animals and humans can share a special bond and that animals are capable of emotions and feelings. This book, for me, was an emotional roller coaster and brought me to tears more than once but I am glad I read it. A must read for cat lovers. Grab a copy if you can find one.
