Great Find!

Never have I read a collection of works which so effortlessly transported me to the author's world. Evocative and easy, his poetry is an escape. Reading his words I suddenly find myself in Tuscarora, or sitting outside at a restaurant table daring the storm to come....I look forward to this poet's next collection!

I had seen tinney perform some time ago with one of his musical groups and had picked up his book via the internet on a whim-What a talent, and what a great young poet- his writing is pure Americana- and a joy to read- Anyone with a flare for the "poetic phrase" is sure to be satisfied by this book. If you are a fan of Dylan, Guthrie, or Williams (yes they are all song writers- and so is Tinney) you will find yourself reaching for a guitar as you thumb through his verse.
