Sweet Surprise Ending!

Colorful illustrations and a simple straight forward story with a happy surprise ending make "Louie's Search" a fun read-a-loud. Kids love Ezra Jack Keats and this story is perfect for a second grader to read independently. Also a good spring board for writing about your own adventures.

great book

simple story, simple (but very well done and complex in their creation) illustrations, great book. i grew up with this as a small kid (one of many in a large collection of books bought whenever the local library had sales for used books), and it will always remain a classic in my mind.
