A wonderful story told excellently!

I fell in love with this book in middle school and was only recently able to track it down through the wonder of the internet and Thrift Books. I was glad to see that, even over a decade later, it still has not lost it's charm. I would recommend this as a great choice for both children and adults who want a bit more magic in their lives.

A MUST READ Book!!!!

I fell in love with this book from my school library.Berthe Amoss is such a good author it feels as if she pulls you in and you actually experience it. So far I have read it twice and it still is entertaining.

Lost Magic- An excellent book

Ceridwen the main character is a waif who gets her name from Gallena,a wise woman who knows of the healing arts.When Ceridwen saves Lord Robert with her herbs she becomes known as Wise Woman of Bevedre. Elinor, Lord robert's only daughter becomes Ceridwen's companion and loves her. after the death of Elinor's mother, Dame Bewick starts accusing Ceridwen for witchcraft. Ceridwen takes Elinor into the forest to save her from the Plague. Elinor gets caught by the Plague but dies when she drinks Ceridwen's 3 magical bouncing drops. The fairies come into her and she becomes a changeling. Ceridwen is accused of Witchcraft and will be burnt. Right when she is about to be burnt Ceridwen finds her hidden inner powers and seets Elinor free from the fairies, making her a child again. Ceridwen changes her self into a stork and flies away. This is an excellent novel which must be read for the details.

One of the best books in the world! I never wanted it to end

Lost Magic gives you a nice feeling when your read it, Berthe makes you just slip into a fantacy world when you cant get out until its finished.

Awesome- One of my favorite books

This book is great. It takes place in Medival Europe- Bedavere. Ceradwen, a decendant of a great sorceress is the main character of this story. When she saves Lord Roberts life, she mooves to a castle, hornered by all but Bewick, who hates her. When Ceradwen is accused of bringing the plague (pest) into Bedavere, she is forced to flee. This book is a must read.
