Kept a non-fiction reader riveted

Let me first start by saying that you truly are a gifted writer. I really enjoyed reading your book and could not put it down. I am not a fiction reader, so you should be impressed already. I also rarely am "grabbed" by a book and compelled to read snatches before bed, after dinner and any other time I could. The plot kept me absorbed, the characters were well developed and there were a number of things that I really connected with. You obviously have either done a great degree of research into the Mormon faith (and it's branches) or you were directly involved or affected by one or more people or circumstances. Thanks for an enjoyable read and I look forward to purchasing your other books and reading them.

Polygamist and/or Serial Killer???

Carver soon finds himself embroiled in the intrigue surrounding a group of 'fugitive' polygamists and a killer of young, dark-haired women. Colourful, believable characters assist in this expose of an often 'backroom' human rights' subject in modern-day Salt Lake City--site of the next winter Olympics. Many kudos to TAP!!!! I urge you to read LaFlamme's first novel, and my favourite, VANISHING BREED--a love story set in the unsettled times of WWII in France involving the attempted rescue of a wonderful breeding pair of Trekhaner horses!!!

Lords of Paradise

Fascinating fictional account of modern polygamy life in Utah. Well written and researched. The book held the interest of this reader after the first few chapters. While the suspense story was fictional the portrayal of polygamous life and its overwhelming patriarchal authority are real.
