Since discovering her psychic and healing abilities in her teens, Echo Bodine has used those gifts to help others. While working as a barber, she often sensed when a client needed healing, and she'd silently provide it. She's helped people communicate with dead loved ones and helped others using the healing power that flows from her hands. She didn't always realize what her abilities meant or how to use them, but Echo continued to seek guidance. She...

Inspiring to the Soul

Receiving this book was really a synchronicity! I'd just been discussing the concept of looking for the good and finding God with a friend. This book is the spiritual journey of a woman who is really quite a pioneer in the field of all things spiritual and mystical. What I loved about this book was that she does tell the truth of her life - and the fact that her journey has not been all rainbows and ice cream. She had to work hard to get where she is, and really really learn to let go and let God direct her life. Something I struggle with all the time. At the end of each chapter is a little section for us to think about. In fact, Echo suggests journaling your thoughts as you read the book (and now that I've read it, I wholeheartedly agree!). This book is the journey of a psychic and healer - but I've found that it's so much more than that. It wasn't like reading an ordinary auto-biography. She gave me so much to think about, and with every chapter I found out something about myself too. In reading this book I felt comforted and hopeful. And now I can really see that the only thing that ever holds me back is just me! That's it! This book has become a friend... and I would highly recommend it to anyone wanting more clarity and understanding in their own life.

Look for the Good and You'll Find God

Finding your place in life is often a difficult journey. This was the case for Echo Bodine. Just as she was readying to start her adult life, she was given a glimpse of her future. A psychic told her that she had gifts and that this would be her calling. Like any young adult, Echo wanted no part of such things. She just wanted to be like everyone else. As often happens, over time Echo came to realize her gifts. With little pushes in the right direction, she also came to accept and embrace her calling. Learning to her intuition was key. I believe this is the most valuable message of Echo's story. We all want to find that one thing that we are good at and that is more than just a job. However, getting past our stubborn ideals of what is valuable and what we need to pay the bills often gets in the road. What we really need to do is just listen to our intuition, it's always spot on.

Inspiring for anyone chosen to take a spiritual path

I have read a number of Echo's books and they have all been informative and inspiring reading. She has excellent storytelling skills that keep your interest and make them hard books to put down. What I like most about Echo is she is down-to-earth and approachable and can easily reach out and touch a large audience. In this particular book she takes on a autobiographical journey. She has faced a number of challenges including alcoholism, giving up a child for adoption, a car accident, a number of health issues, and being behind on her taxes and dealing with the IRS and the MN Dept of Revenue. These are things that are painful and frightening to most of us including Echo and she sought help through God and miraculous things occurred. Not always how she wanted it to be but how God saw best to help her in her life journey and soul purpose. The message that threads throughout the book is that God loves us and has the best of intentions for us. She gives questions for the reader to ponder at the end of each chapter to help guide and encourage us all to improve our conscious contact with God. Whether you believe in psychic abilities or not you will enjoy this book. This book is for anyone who embraces spirituality whatever your religion (or lack of religion). I am one of Echo's students here in Minneapolis and she is the real deal. She practices what she preaches and lives this spiritual life and has reaped the benefits. She hasn't eliminated negative external things happening in her life but has found strength and love with God to be able to cope with things with peace and serenity. In this she can be more effective in fulfilling her life's purpose and she shows us in this book so can we!

Miracles, Heaven, Healing and Love

Look for the good and you'll find God. There are many ways to describe the way Echo Bodine writes, I can sum it up in one word, " Inspirational " I have often said if you can't hear the writers voice while reading their book then you never reach that personal relationship with the book. With Echo Bodines books I have always heard her voice. I love this new book of hers, addicting I might add, for that the moment I had it in my hands I had a hard time putting it down. Chapter 14 is a must read for anybody who has a weak belief in the other side, a belief with something higher than everything in this universe. I only wish her book could scream , scream out to the world and it says this; And the Angels said " We have so many problems here on earth because we have trouble honoring each other's convictions. We don't want to accept that everybody has a different reality; we want everyone to be and think and act as we do. Thank you Echo Bodine, not only for another Fantastic book, but for reminding us all, to love, to fight, to heal, and to, Look for the good and you'll find God " Tuesday Miles
