"Carry me back to ole Virginia"

This episode sure is different from most to the Longarm tales.Here we find Longarm meeting up with a pair of cousins,Ruby and Nola Bugabee from back home in "West-by Gawd-Virginia. And what a pair they turn out to be.Longarm remembers the family they are from, and that they were a bunch to be reckoned with.However;these cousins obtained a treasure map of gold, hidden at the end of the Civil War.It is supposed to be hid at Picacho Peak.Though not known as a famous battle site;it was important historically because it was the westernmost engagement of the entire Civil War. More than the cousins are aware of the map and the story is filled with lots of fast action pursuits,ambushes,and good old fashioned skullduggery;in Longarm's attempt to retrieve the treasure and to make sure those who are trying to get to it first,don't succeed. A bit of everything in this saga makes it a first class edition in this great long running series.
