What an Eye-Opener!

The result of the author's PhD dissertation at MIT, book looks for correlations in 100+ long term economic data sets from over 500 years of Western economic history. He finds that long cycles are statistically real. Provides an overview of the various theoritical schools and their interrelations.Would you believe that Trotsky predicted the 1990-92 business downturn!This book sent me on a very enlightening reading spree amongst it's extensive bibliography.All-in-all, a great read for a dissertation.
