This book takes all the logos that were in Rockport Publisher's best-seller, LogoLounge and collects them in one small, neat, pictorial handbook for easy reference. There are no lengthy case histories, just logos, logos, and more logos. It's a fast-paced book featuring one to six logos per page to allow designers to easily shop for ideas. A MUST HAVE FOR DESIGNERS AND NON-DESIGNERS

This is a great showcase of one of the best recent logo compilations around. Above all, here you will find many real fresh logos not seen in major logo collection books.Of all 2,000 logos in this book, you won't find junk logos at all. This title definitively has a lot of logo research, good sense careful selection and plurality. Work from designers around the globe gives a sense of wide coverage helping to open the reader's mind. A great inspiration source.Logos are well organized in easy to understand categories, referring different criteria, such as style, graphic content, and visual communication. If not decided which logo book to buy, you should consider removing other titles from your cart before this one. Honest.Enjoy!

MUST BUY for any serious logo designer

If you design logos then you MUST own this book. Period. It has an "original" range and higher quality level per-capita of logos than any other book of it's kind. So many of these kinds of books open the floodgates to a tremendous amount of sub-par work, BUT NOT LOGOLOUNGE! You continously find inspiring work within it's pages. You also HAVE TO check out the website that it's based on. This promises inspiring logo ideas and reference material for years to come!! I am anxiously awaiting "volume II"!!! If you own any of the GRAPHIS logo books - you CERTAINLY will want this sitting on your shelf to accompany them. -L.L. is of similar quality--but with more logos!!

Remarkable Visual Encyclopedia of Logos and Identities

Logo Lounge is an incredible book filled with a virtually endless amount of inspiration. Logos are categorized by industry (sports, entertainment, etc.) and by type (calligraphic, symbolic, etc.). The mini-editorials are creative and challenging, and the organization of the book is superb. A must-have for any designer or logo entusiast.

Excellent On All Counts.

If you buy one logo book this year, I would recommend that this be it. There is no padding at all in the packaging. Succinct and on-target profiles of identity projects intersperse what you came for: the marks. --And there is a glorious superabundance of those. For advertising agencies that do a fair amount of trade with client intermediaries who are in the dark about "what is out there" (i.e. people who make decisions about logos with little knowledge about what the good and above-typical work being done today looks and feels like) this book might make the all-time great leave-behind. (This would be putting your "educating the client" money where your mouth is.) For designers working in a frankly commercial setting, the book can be viewed as a compass or gauge of sorts: This is where 'they' are; this is where 'you' are. As such, it is a truly invaluable aid and guide. But maybe more importantly, the work is often so exhilarating to look at that it would be hard not to feel recharged and ready to tear into your next identity project after browsing it.This book is a direct outgrowth of a website dedicated to logo design. The authors suggest that this may be the first of a series of annuals from the same resource. Let's hope so.

Highly recommended

Excellent collection of logo designs with classifications and explanations. One of the best book about identity design in a resent years. Highly recommended.
