Great Resource

I use this Almanac on almost a daily basis. I often refer to the correspondences of the moon phase, days, and which zodiac rules each day to aid me in making important decisions. Very accurate! Also, I didn't think I would be into the articles very much and would only use the Almanac section of it, but I found the articles to be VERY interesting and very helpful in living a magickal life :-)

Better than last year's!

I've been buying and using these almanacs sine 98 or 99, and have always been pleased. It lets me know what I need to, without hard to read signs or symbols. I was disapointed last year because I found the articles uninteresting, or repetitve. I was really pleased when mine came tody, full of great articles as well as the alamanac information. Very happy with this one!!!

Magical Almanac review

I really enjoyed reading this book. I learned some new things and some I was not expecting to be in an Almanac. I would recomend this book to everyone who is interested in this type of book. I am looking forward to the next one.

Potporri of Magic

I have been a fan of these Almanacs since the first one. No where else can you get such an assortment of articles on different subjects by well-respected (and a few new) authors representing a broad spectrum of traditions for such a low price. Every year I learn something new. Oh, the actual almanac does a good job of putting astronomical and other correspondences together in a convenient place -- but to be honest, its the articles that keep these on my bookshelf for reference sake.

Helpful, Practical, Magickal!

This is the first Llewellyn Almanac I've bought, and I feel like a fool for waiting this long! The actual almanac section exhibits wonderful information for each day of the month, January 2009-December 31st 2009 such as: *The specific moon phase *The sign the moon is currently in, along with the times of which it enters a new sign *Incense of the day *Color of the day *Any holidays that fall on each date (which is quite interesting since it seems every day is a holiday somewhere on the planet!) Other than that, it's packed with plenty of information and stories from some very well known pagan authors, including Fairy Lore(Sidhe), Magickal Inks, Flying Ointments, Bear Totems, Familiars, Family Covens, Cauldron lore; the list is neqarly endless! All in all, great price for the information and Calendar!
