Great for boys

My 7 year old son really enjoyed this book. Unless your child is an advanced reader, it really takes till first grade before the child can read this on his own. Then you will only have a few words to help him with. The words in bold (like hibernation) are defined in the glossary in the back, which is a nice learning tool. When your child asks what the word means, it is easy to show him how to look up the meaning without getting out a dictionary.
