The Living Word of St.John

There has always been a major difference between the three synoptic gospels of Matthew, Mark and Luke, and the later gospel of John. John's book has been regarded, not so much a story about the life of Jesus, as an interpretation of the deeper spiritual significance of his words and actions. White Eagle in The Living Word of St John, disclosing the profoundly mystical truth behind the gospel of John, reveals that it is even more unique than many biblical sholars could imagine. White Eagle suggests that chapter fourteen, one of the most famous chapters, contains "the jewel of the whole gospel." It contains many well-known phrases: "in my Father's house are many mansions," and "the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works..." and White Eagle explains the esoteric significance of the words that through misinterpretation have long been a source of division: "I am the way, the truth and life; no man cometh unto the Father, but by me." Many have interpreted these words to mean that Christianity is the sole path to God. "Do not confuse Christ," says White Eagle, "with the man through whom he worked, Jesus of Nazareth, the Initiate." The Living Word of St.John contains an important message. Like Jesus, we can all become "man made perfect." It is a book well worth reading.

White Eagle's Interpretation of the Gospel of St John

As a neophyte to the teachings of White Eagle, I found this book to be a tremendous help to me in my understanding of both White Eagle and the Bible. The book turned what, to me, were previously only barren, impersonal phrases in the Blble into living words which link God with all man via the inner spark of Christos within. It places spiritual unfoldment and evolution within the grasp of anyone with the desire and longing to seek it. Well written, the text moves through the 21 chapters of the Gospel of St. John, with White Eagle's interpretations spelled out in a logical and easy to follow manner. I would highly recommend this book, especially to to those of you who believe that there is no place for God or Christ in their life, as I did such a short time ago. The book puts many things in life into full perspective. I recommend it to you!
