Unique remodeling ideas

I bought this book many years ago, digging through the "architecture" shelves of my favourite used-book store. I've flipped through it a few hundred times, & always find it enjoyable & thought-provoking. That's pretty good, figuring that there's no text (except a few comments at the beginning & end), or even page numbers. There are lofts, cottages, Victorians, even what appears to be a refurbished rooftop water-storage tank. It's a scattered photographic essay on the quirky ways people turn their dwellings into something that actually "lives" (hence the double entenre in the title). No residence has more than four photos, & there's no discernible organisation. All in all, it's enjoyable. If you do interiors, or are just looking to overhaul your own space, get a copy & enjoy it. There's a gabled attic, a spiral staircase, & a deep tile bathtub that I hope to someday reproduce -- for starters.
