A "Must-read" Book

Living Inside Out: Learning How to Pray the Serenity Prayer This outstanding book is a must-read for anyone interested in living a rewarding, fulfilled life. It's easy-to-read and can be applied quickly to everyday living. In very simple terms it clarifies those things in life we can control and those we cannot and must release. It focuses on how to use our energy on those things that will make a significant difference in how we manage our lives, improve our relationships with others and let go of those things that are causing stress, conflict and stealing our joy. I read the book twice and will be using it in a discussion group. The book is a small investment with huge immediate personal rewards.

With my husband being diagnosed with a brain tumor, I was frantic. A friend sent me this book, and I read it all in one night. I am not a deeply religious person, but this book literally changed my panic, my soul, and my very being by letting me let God control. My husband has now read the book, and I have sent it to people in South Africa who also have recently been diagnosed with serious conditions. It is a book one will want to read and re-read in times of trouble.

Living Inside Out, Learning How to Pray the Serinty Prayer

This book was the focus of a Spiritual Life Group for our church. We began studying it in April 2005. April 19th my brother was diagnosed with a tennis ball sized brain tumor. This book really helped me cope with the situation. (We live many miles from each other so being there for the surgery was not really possible.) Not knowing my sister-in-law all that well, I hesitated to recommend the book but spoke about it in our e-mails. My brother was hospitalized a second time with complications. And the stress of the situation was almost unbearable for her. Finally I sent her the book thinking it might help her cope. She absolutely loved the book! She is recommending it to people (worldwide) whom she has met on the Internet thru a brain tumor forum. I highly recommend this book!
