Excellent book for putting yourself in some older shoes

Love this love story! Memoir of the wife of a naturalist and her experiences supporting him in his dreams. She was the true definition of a helpmeet, and her life was enriched by it. Her stories about the animals, people, land, struggles, and triumphs are so well-written, the reader feels she is experiencing it right along with Ms. Hazel. Truly a joy to reread!
