jenny slate my love <3 This book is wonderful. its emotional, real, funny- again, I guess if you dont like her writing style (samples of it are available online I believe) then you won't enjoy the book as much because she has such a distinct voice. but Ugh how many times did I re-read certain passages? so many. pieces of it have stuck with me long after reading the book and I will certainly re-read again in the future. makes you notice and appreciate that you are alive.

reading this book felt like finding a long-lost, wrongfully discarded piece of my soul. i cried several times reading this book. i learned things about myself from this book. i felt comforted and freed by this book all at the same time. i really couldnt even put into words how much i loved it. i want to kiss jenny slate sweetly on the forehead for gifting it to the world.
