Very Nice Book, but....

Positive views: -6 Complete and very well made Tests. -3 Cassettes. -The Reading Section is more difficult than in the Real TOEFL CBT. This way, you can practice the most complicated aspects in the Reading Part. -Full answers keys, with explanations and listening Scripts. -If you have further questions, or do not understand the explanations in the book, just go to the homepage and ask them! -I got 257 and it was the first time I took it! (Listening 24, Writing 26, Reading 27, Essay 5.0) I used to be very bad in reading, yet, I improved a lot with this Lingua TOEFL CBT TEST BOOK!! Negative views: -Few mistakes in the answer key. -Some explanations are vague. Therefore, you have to enter to their homepage and ask them for a better explanation. -There is no way to know the score you got in these mock tests. -CD Contain only one 1 Full Test and it is the same as the first test in the book. There are some programming errors: the real score does not show up, you cannot review the test, and you cannot print your essay nor review it.

Perfect for test preparation!

Since this book was written by people with experience in the TOEFL, the readers really have the advantage of years of experience, hints, tips, and strategy in these guides. This particular books gives the reader practice tests (multiple tests!) which does several things: lets the reader see his or her strengths and weaknesses, lets the reader practice different test-taking strategies, and allows the reader to become familiar and comfortable with the format before the test-taking date. The added bonus with this book is the CD-ROM, which simulates the computer-based testing (CBT) that most people take these days. This lets the student become comfortable using the computer to take the test, so that there are no questions on the testing day.This is a wonderful resource. Students can use this to practice before the test, and teachers can use this to quiz their students in a classroom setting, or for additional practice.

Great for Practice

I bought this book in addition to Lingua TOEFL CBT Insider by the same publisher. I like them both. This book has practice tests only. It has 6 full-length tests.(Not just one test!) There is an explanation for every answer so you can review your work. If you are practicing the TOEFL with this book, you will really enjoy the book's CD-ROM. It's like taking the test at the test center!
