Fantastic Read!

A friend at work insisted that I *must* read Lilith & Ronin, going so far as bringing them to work and leaving them on my desk. At first, I was skeptical, but when I actually sat down to read them, I was hooked. They're great fantasy and get away from the traditional Tolkienesque style that we all know and love and delve into myths that were, at least to me, new and unknown. If the publishers don't release the third book, they are INSANE!

Excellent Book!!

DA Heeley has wrote a gem here. The action is very detailed, the emotions are very human. Heeley clearly has a fluent understanding of occult theory and practice and she implements it flawlessly in this story.Unfortunatley, the third book in this trilogy was never published. I would very much like to see how the main character fared in his final adventures.

Piece of Info

I picked up Heeley's novels about a year ago because I was looking for a new fantasy/fiction writer to amaze me...having gone through all the greats, and a few newer names. I called in sick to work two days in a row just to finish these books. They kept me enthralled the entire time I read them. However, there was no closure. I was missing the third book, because...Lo and behold, there isn't one. So I wrote to Llewellyn Worldwide a couple of times wondering what the deal was. Come to find out, after about my fifth e-mail, Llewellyn has no intention of releasing the third book in the series. So if you liked Heeley's books, its either give up or press forward. I'm posting this as many places as I can, because I'm selfish and I need my third book. My two cents...

Not JUST fiction, I assure you...

I bought the book cheap 'cause it was on sale at an outdoor rack and the concept interested me a lot. I've been into magick, reincarnation, energy, etc. a lot in the past couple of years and the book seemed interesting enough to try. Boy, was I shocked! The knowledge, terminology, technical details, etc. were SO GOOD that it pulled A LOT of confusing details together for me. If one believes in the NEW AGE SPIRITUALITY that is taking hold all over the world, Thank God, this book and it's sucessors are a MUST. This trilogy, when book 3 comes out, will prove to be more than JUST fiction...there's quite a bit of truth. How much you find depends on your beliefs.

Educating and entertaining, a truly wonderful book!

Althogh it has some grammatical fallicies, this book is perhaps the best I have read in the past five years. The author has an extensive knowledge of hand-to-hand combat and many insights on religion. The vocabulary is not commonly known, however, a glossary is included in the back of the book. The story is greatly entertaining, yet the best aspect of the book is that it has immense educational value. I learned more about other beliefs from this book than any I have ever read, moreover it inspired me to do research on my own. What Heely lacks in grammatical knowledge is more than compensated by creativity and thought-provoking concepts.
