She Loves Me...She Loves Me Not?

Danielle Roberts is a successful attorney who seems to have it all together...but looks can be deceiving. She has a secret that is affecting her love life. She thought she would be able to come to terms with it and put it all behind her...that is until her own on-again, off-again ex-fiancé moves back to town. Greg Thomas is also a successful attorney who has moved back home to win back the only woman he has ever really loved besides his mama. When he left town two years ago to advance his career, he had no idea that his life would be so incomplete without Dani. Now that he has returned, he is determined to do whatever it takes to make her Mrs. Gregory Allen Thomas. Sylvia Lett's style of writing just flows. There are never lagging moments in the storyline. This story also has lots of secondary characters, but she makes the characters so real that you are able to identify with almost all of them. The book is mainly about two families, and you can match each character with a member of your family, whether it's the obnoxious cousin that everyone hates to see coming or the parent who tries to control everything. Like Never Before was very easy to read with a great storyline. A must read!!! Reviewed by Tenecia for Urban Reviews

Love RollerCoaster

Whew! While I found this an interesting read, it wore me out. Up,Down,Up,Down and on and on . . . The plot was good and well-developed, but there was always something standing in their way. Just when you thought they'd get together, someone (her family or his) was working to destroy this couple. If you like a little passion sprinkled with lots of twists, then this is the book for you!

Love the second time around

Mary J. Blige said it best in her song "It ain't all roses" and in her latest release, Sylvia Lett shows readers that everything worth having is worth working for. Danielle Roberts met the man of her dreams, Greg Thomas, in college. Although they were in a class together, they had yet to be introduced until one night they were thrown together at a party. Soon after that, they became inseparable and continued to date after graduation. Both were successful in their careers. Danielle became a corporate lawyer while Greg practiced criminal law. Their romance was like a fairytale and six months after graduation, Greg asked Danielle to marry him. Their engagement lasted two years before the couple allowed outside forces to drive them apart. When Greg was offered a position out of state, he accepted it leaving Danielle behind. Greg made an awful mistake. He put his career before the woman he loves and has regretted that decision every since. For the past two years, he's tried everything to get Danielle out of his system but has failed. Determined to correct his mistake, Greg returns home with a plan of getting Danielle back. Will Greg's plan work? Or will outside forces continue to come between them? Sylvia Lett has written a interesting love story that shows the ups and downs of relationships. Her use of secondary characters helps the reader understand the challenges the couple face and flows well with the story. LIKE NEVER BEFORE is a good read that will leave romance fans satisfied.
