an extraordinary story

i have read this book quite a lot of times and i love it every time even more. the story is really out of the ordinary romance stories and the writing is really good. i find it tender, adventurous and really humorous. also, it is a clean romance, which is something that is rather rare to find. a reckless young man is transformed into a mature, working, strong man. and the lovely young servant girl is transformed into a real lady! a wonderful, truly romantic story which is also subversive in many ways.
