Anastasia Arnold leaves Smallwood and Associates, becomes a famous author, and lives the life she has always dreamed of. As she lives her dream and becomes unrecognizable to herself, life's revelations bring about all the twists and turns of her life and take her down a path she never saw coming. On a visit to her birth city, she finds out things are not as she always thought about her family. During this time, she entertains a soul singer named Jasper Jennings, who differs from any man she has been with. Knowing life continues whether we are ready for it, Anastasia forges on to make the best of her life's situations as she finds herself without a car and facing eviction. But life could not and would not wait and eventually Anastasia gets evicted and sleeps in her car until one day she meets a lady in passing and finds herself in a much better position as she takes on subletting the lady's apartment. From that point in her life, everything is on the horizon as Anastasia feels herself and catches the eye of the general manager of Smallwood and Associates, her latest employer. Things get heated as her boss Kaley harassed her to no end, and a man is behind it all; and causes Anastasia to leave and start a new life in the world of glitz, glamor, and famous men.
