pre Erma Bombeck funny

Read this book years ago and loved it. Wonderful story of a house wife and her trials with raising a large family. Twila is a great story teller. Though I suspect she wrote this years before Erma Bombeck was a house hold name, she has a Bombeck-esque flair to her writing. Wish she had written more. If you get a chance to read "Life is just a bowl of kumquats" don't pass up this little gem.
