Truly A Classic

Long before we were introduced to the "victim" society where it is seemingly fashionable to blame others for one's woes, Shad Helmstetter was a pioneer in championing the notion that the quality of our lives is a function of the quality of our choices. Few books have had a greater impact on me. Helmstetter leaves no room for one to hide (behind excuses, finger pointing and the like). And, that is a good thing for any of us. Since his book, many other authors have expounded on the subject. All serve to re-enforce what Helmstetter so thoughtfully laid out 25 years ago. Truly a classic! Too bad it took me so long to express my appreciation to the author for a job so very well done. Guess that is an example that all of my choices have not been 100% correct.
