Book Overview

The long-awaited autobiography of Keith Richards, guitarist, songwriter, singer, and founding member of the Rolling Stones.

With The Rolling Stones, Keith Richards created the songs that roused the world, and he lived the original rock and roll life.

Now, at last, the man himself tells his story of life in the crossfire hurricane. Listening obsessively to Chuck Berry and Muddy Waters records, learning guitar and forming a band...

Lovely read

Keith writes straight from the heart which I admire. His innermost thoughts and feelings. Spans over 5 decades. Definitely recommend it.

Now I'm a Fan!

I always liked Keith Richards....now I'm a Fan! An awesome history...truthful, articulate and honest. Keith gives you the good, the bad and the ugly of his personal and professional life. It made me sad and it made me laugh. Travel with him from childhood to his last tours...the little kid who was regularly beat up to the other half of the founders of The Rolling Stones. A wild child with a big heart...who surprises me that he even survived. Much on the people who influenced his music and his life and those who are his life. A real person. The best autobiography I've ever read. This one is a keeper.
