A Study in Aphrodisiacs throughout history

I found this book to be quite entertaining and occasionally titillating. It draws strongly on the history of it's subject and presents such interesting facts as " the ancient Chinese thought jade to be crystallized semen of dragons" . Although it is no way a cookbook, having just a few recipes, Lewd Food is complete in its exploration of the erotic components of every food group and also warns against some things that count as "anaphrodisiacs" . Did you know that lemons cool the sex drive? The original dust jacket of this book is delightfully dated. Try to buy one that is jacketed.
