SHE READ IT

Finally a book that my daughter actually finished with out a fight. Let's just say she is not a reader. I just sat the book out and it was gone I went looking for her and to my amazement she was reading it the book was actually done in about 2 hours and she wanted the next one. what more is there to say finally a book that kids actually like to read to tell the truth I thought it was funny too so secretly between us I am out looking for the next in the set.

Pretty good. Not so dumb, haha.

Dear Dumb Diary: Let's Pretend This Never Happened is a very funny story (well, really a diary) about a girl that's in middle school. Her name is Jamie Kelly, and she really dislikes Angeline, the most popular girl in her school (Jamie, acording to the popularity meter, is just 7/10!). She has to deal with the fear of being nicknamed, vengeful beagles, and getting her 'future boyfriend' stolen. It's a pretty funny story & it's very realistic. Its drawings are great, not the best but they're funny. I reccomend this book to 8-12 year olds. Also, this book is made by the creator of Happy Bunny, so I suppose whoever is a fan of Jim Benton should read it.

Not So Dumb

Dear Dumb Diary :Lets Pretend this Never Happened, is written and illustrated by Jim Benton. This is the first book of a three part series written for mostly 4th, 5th and 6th grade girls. This book is realistic fiction and takes the form of diary entries. Jamie Kelly the intermediate student at Mackerel Middle School (M M S), is medium-popular and wants more popularity. Angeline, Jamie's rival, is popular with the girls and cutest boys in the school. One day Angeline got her long beautiful hair tangled in one of the jillion things dangling from her backpack. The school nurse took a pair of scissors and snipped two feet of silky golden locks from the left side of her head, now Angeline no longer looks like the prettiest girl in the world! Also Angeline threw a piece of meat loaf at the cafeteria lady. Then Jamie was accused of doing it and was immediately sent to the principal's office. Jamie was almost caught stealing Angeline's permanent record and hair from the trash. This book is eye catching because of the wonderful characters that Jim Benton creates. It has a mysterious but girly touch to it. Benton has also come out with Dear Dumb Diary : My Pants are Haunted and coming soon is Dear Dumb Diary Am I the Princess or the Frog. I strongly recommend this book to girls that like an easy read.So now girls everywhere will enjoy it!

Dumb Stuff

I think this is a good book for all girls who like funny things. Some girls that like to read short stuff This would be a good book for them I would recommend this book to 4th - 6th grade

a funny book

Dear Dumb Diary #1 is really funny. It is the diary of a sixth grade girl named Jamie Kelly, who always has a problem, usually something embarrasing about her or her friend Isabella, maybe even a problem with Angeline, the most popular girl in school. Whatever her problem is, Jamie always finds a funny way to fix it.
