Great book for kids moving or not

This is a great book for families that will be moving soon. It shows them that it isn't the end of the world and that there will be friends for them at their new home. It may even be better than where they live now. There is also great lessons about meeting new and different people and accepting them for who and what they are, not what they appear to be on the outside. The difficulty level is such that it is a great book to read to your kids. Also, if your kids are just starting to read, they may just pull it off the shelf and read it to you.

I'm going to buy this for my friends with children.

This book is just what I was looking for with my niece! She was completely enthralled by it when I read it to her. She had stayed with me while her parents were moving to the new house and what a wonderful gift I feel I have given her. Now my sister says she makes her read it to her almost every night. I highly recommend this book to anyone having children that is about to move.
