Lenny is a... man and an absolute rock star. Mark Seligar captures Lenny in a way that makes him compelling and makes you feel like you know him just a little bit. The picture of him and his father and what he says is something that I'll always remember. However, if you are not a die hard Lenny fan you will still enjoy the pictures but you will probably not want to own the book. I loved it and then gave it to a good friend who loved it even more.

Nice Coffee Table Book

I bought this book for my wife for XMas partly because we're both big Lenny fans, but mostly because she has a crush on the guy.Lenny Kravitz could be one of the few celebrities/artists with an ego big enough to publish a book of photographs of himself, but who cares? There are some touching photos of him with daughter and a really great series of Lenny making silly faces. I knew my wife would love it, but I didn't expect to hear her shriek as she thumbed through it and came across the almost full frontal nudity in one photograph. I should have looked at the book myself before buying it, but I doubt it would have changed my mind about getting it for her.
