As a long-time fitness buff (and a long-time leg man) I still remember coming across pictures of Gayle Olinekova many years ago and being astounded by her unusual legs--the subject of this book. Folks, this pretty little blonde gal had leg muscles you would expect to find on a Viking woman!! Though her hugely muscled legs might have turned off some, they made other women want their legs to resemble Gayle's; hence this guide being created. For you gals wanting a guide to shaping up your gams, this book will do that job. Gayle was a bodybuilder and runner and shares her knowledge and experience within--although it must be pointed out that certain things she believed then have been disproven since. Gayle was more than a fitness instructor, though: she offers useful advice for daily living. For people like me who enjoy looking backwards at those times this book will also entertain you. The pictures of the mid-80s aerobics class tights, headbands, sport sneakers, Lyle Alzado, et al take me back to when I was a teen-ager. Also, Gayle was a beautiful woman and this is captured in several pictures. Unfortunately Gayle died in 2003 of cancer, but through books like these we can remember her athleticism, her useful philosophies for living, and her beauty.
