Leave Me Breathless

Tessa Williams is one brilliant rocket scientist, who just can't seem to find a decent man to date. Well she has had two men in her past that turned her head but the timing wasn't right with either of them. So she does what any self respecting scientist would and dives into her work whole hearted. Now suddenly the government project she has worked on is coming to a close, but before they can finish, things start to go drastically wrong. The coworker, the only other person with the launch codes, suddenly goes missing, and foul play is assumed. Now Tessa finds herself under protection of N.C.I.S. and on the run for her life. What are the chances that her protectors are the same two men who still have pieces of her heart? Nick and Jake are a pair to recon with and I love that Ms. Michaels has written just the woman (Tessa) that can take them both on. There are a number of twists and turns in Leave Me Breathless, and I don't mean just in bed either. selfless and refreshing

I was captured the moment I read the first page. There was love caring and compassion for all involved. The awesomeness in this story was that all three were connected and thought of themselves as a whole instead of just three individules with seperate wants and needs. Though non-traditional in our social views, love is still the ultimate goal and who are we th say what is right or wrong? I am excited to read more from Ms. Michaels.

I'm Breathless now!

This is a seriouosly good, erotic read, if you like explict detail and lots of red hot sex. It's also got the menage element--m/f/m--which is so hot right now. I don't think I've ever read anything quite like this but I want more!!! Leave Me Breathless did just that for me and I'd even like to see a followup! A recommend, that's for sure, for this super-hot read. Another super-hot read: Husband Swap and Roughing It: Two Dirty Stories. Steamy, steamy, steamy!!

Mitch and Jake have always been friends, even through Mitch's stint as a Navy SEAL and Jake's career as a computer specialist. The one thing they have in common is Tessa Williams. The woman each man continues to dream about and love. The woman that each man regrets having let slip away. It isn't until a shared assignment that Mitch and Jake realize that the one woman they both love is Tessa, the only woman they have never shared. Coming up with a plan, the men decide that while they love her, the final choice is up to Tessa. By the time their protection is no longer needed, Tessa needs to choose which man she wants to spend her life with. LEAVE ME BREATHLESS is a ménage match made in heaven. The blurb for this book doesn't give it the sensual credit it deserves. Poignant, sexy, and earth shatteringly provocative, Mitch and Jake are two men no woman should have to choose between. Not only would I have not been able to make a choice, I would have been hard pressed to have let them go the first time. I love how they protect and cherish Tessa. Let me say that this is a truly wonderful love story. Trista Ann Michaels has penned a keeper with LEAVE ME BREATHLESS. If a monogamous ménage relationship is a genre of choice, then I highly recommend this novel. It left me completely breathless and yearning for more from this author! Natalie S.

Tessa Williams has a Masters degree from MIT in engineering and physics, a great high-level job with the government, but she has no personal life. Just when she decides to venture out with her friend Kate, the director of NCIS breezes in telling her she is now in protective custody because the only person besides Tessa that has access to the new missile launch codes, has mysteriously disappeared. While she hates the position she is put in, she understands why the information she has can't be allowed to be at risk. Best friends Mitch Robbins and Jake Bradley can't imagine anything they want to do less than baby-sit some uptight female scientist. Mitch is an investigator for NCIS and Jake is a computer specialist, but their objections to this assignment are overruled. They anticipate an incredibly monotonous assignment until they find out Tessa is the woman they will be protecting. As close as they have always been, neither had informed the other that they had dated her. That gave them both a clear message how much she had meant. She meant everything because Tessa is the one that Mitch and Jake regretted letting go. When Tessa came face to face with her protectors, you could have knocked her over with a feather. She was standing in the presence of the two men that had the biggest impact on her life. She had loved both men to distraction, but yet the relationships had still ended. Now, facing them again, she felt overwhelmed. When the initial shock wears off, Mitch and Jake assure Tessa she is in good hands. They head out to a secure location that no one is supposed to know about, but when attempts are made to get to Tessa, Jake and Mitch just hope they can keep her alive because they both fully intend to explore a relationship with her. This is a great read filled with suspense and smoking hot lovin! Tessa is a beautiful and very intelligent character with immeasurable strength. Jake and Mitch are tough agents for NCIS, but yet both have a very soft spot when it comes to Tess. The loss of her is their greatest regret, and they aren't afraid to show her. A book you don't want to miss!!
