Good for any worship class

The Alleluia worship series are seven courses on the subject of worship. The seven courses are divided up thirteen short and easy to understand classes or chapters. At the end of each session are review and reflection questions that really help with the whole process of thinking through worship and what we are doing as the people of God. Learning to Worship with All You Heart is the first book of the seven and it is divided up into three parts. Part 1, is called "Worship and the Story of Salvation." It has four sections that emphasize worship as celebrating and remembering the work, life, death, burial and resurrection of Jesus. The second part is "Worship and the Response of God's People" and it is divided up into 4 sessions as well. The 3rd part is called "Biblical Institutions of Worship", and this one is divided into 5 sessions. In this book you will learn about covenant and worship, sacrifice and worship, the tabernacle and worship, the names of God and worship, the vocabulary of worship, the temple and worship, and much more. I think this is an easy to used study series for a pastor or teacher to take the church or a class through. It would be ideal for small group study and discussion

Learning to Worship With All Your Heart

This is a great introduction to the biblical foundations to Christian worship. The weekly matieral is easy to read and the follow-up questions help one to think about their approach to worship. If you are looking for ways to turn your worship "vertical", this is a great study guide for personal or corporate worship.
