In this tale, Laura discovers that Ma can do anything. She can make butter from milk and hats from a bundle of straw, and she always finds a way to make their little house warm and cosy. This description may be from another edition of this product.
My second grader enjoys these books very much, some new words are introduced. Very easy to read. Glad to find this.
Laura's Ma

This book is a very good book. It tells you how Laura's Ma, Caroline raises her family, and copes with moving, and never having a stable home. I enjoyed this book, but I think it would be better to read the real books, the Caroline years. (Little house at the Crossroads, Little house in Brookfield...)
