Although the photos here are sometimes grainy, this is a very intersting book to have in one's collection. Almost all of the pictures show various german tanks destroyed by the allies. Of particular interst, the author describes what knocked out the tank, a shell hole, or a field modification to the tank which you do not normally see in other works. This is not a book for modelers, it does not have line drawings or color photos. Nor is it an in depth review of any particular vehicle. Instead, it really captures quite accurately the mess the german armored corps was in by the end of the war - dozens of varients of everything they could put a cannon onto. This is almost a "boneyard" collection of WWII German Armor. Interesting reading, I recommend it if you can find a copy somewhere. 64 pages, softcover. each photo has a paragraph to illustrate what the reader is seeing.
